International Roaming

Trading overseas?

International roaming refers to the ability to use your card payment terminal while overseas. Depending on the type of roaming available and the destination to which you are travelling, you may be able to use your terminal to take payments.

Due to the GSM quad-band used in the USA, our terminals are not compatible for use there.  Also, dependant on the network other countries may not be compatible for International Roaming.  If you would like to check if your terminal is compatible for use in the country visiting, please contact our Customer Service Team on 0203 394  1511 or by emailing customerservice@123send.net.

**Please note, customers with merchant services provider GPUK are unable to use international roaming as GPUK do not allow cross border transactions.

The Process:

STAGE 1

We need to know the following information before setting up international roaming to your terminal:

  • Date the terminal is leaving mainland UK and return date
  • Country you wish to use the terminal
  • Terminal ID(s) (TID) and SIM number you wish to use abroad*

*The Terminal ID (TID) can be located on any receipts that you have printed from your card terminal.

Please complete the following form and return this to us 7 working days prior to the activation date.**

STAGE 2

Once the signed forms have been received by the Customer Services Team, 123send will activate the International Roaming to your terminal and send you a confirmation by e-mail.

This email will have a step by step process for you to complete in the UK on the activation date. It is imperative that the terminal is fully activated in the UK prior to leaving mainland to allow for international roaming.

Charges:

There is a £25.00 + VAT charge (per terminal, per month) to activate your International Roaming request. This charge will be deducted in your next quarterly bill.
