Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the 123Send newsletter, my name is Mark Roberts and as of February 2020 I am excited to say that I am the new CEO of 123Send. I do hope that this finds you safe and well and that during these testing times you are starting to see signs of recovery. I know many of our valued customers have continued to trade over the past few months and have had to adapt to new ways of serving their customers. However, I also appreciate that many of our customers have been unable to work and are looking forward to getting back to opening their shutters for business.
It is important that you take steps that make you, your staff and your customers safe. To assist in this, payment terminals can be cleaned with antiseptic wipes; however contactless transactions should be preferred, as they entirely avoid physical touch. Also, please consider advising your customers of the use of mobile phone and watch payments such as Apple / Google Pay, as they are not subject to the new £45 transaction limit.
A New Era
I would like to take this opportunity to give an update on 123Send and share some news of developments that have happened over the last few months. On 30th October 2019, it was announced that DNA Payments acquired CR7 Services (a group that 123Send is part of). This change of ownership has brought opportunity and change to our business, which will benefit our valued customers greatly. From a personal perspective, I am delighted to join the 123Send team as their new CEO. I have been involved in the payments industry for nearly 20 years, working across the industry in various leadership roles. My primary responsibility is to ensure that our valued customers have the depth and breadth of quality products and services that help their businesses flourish and thrive.
New Product Launch
To this end, we have an exciting new product available from our group company, DNA Payments. A new e-commerce service to enable you to sell online via your website. We have launched this service, which is available to all our existing customers and at market leading processing rates. For a limited time, we are also offering a month free of processing charges for those that sign up. Signing up for this solution couldn’t be simpler. Just click here and follow the online application form.
Another new service that I am delighted to announce is our Zash POS solution. Zash POS is an Android Point of Sale (POS) app! We have integrated this app with our payment solution and are happy to announce it is now available on our cutting-edge PAX A920 device and available with every mainstream UK merchant acquirer. We have combined POS and Payments in one device. It is so simple to get set up. Call us to upgrade your terminal, register an account online and open the app on the terminal then you can start selling.
In addition to taking payments with PAX A920, you can also have your products, prices and sales reports in your hand, or online. It is suitable for anyone who is selling goods or services in any location – as you have the option to have a SIM card for full flexibility. Best of all you can try it out for free for 3 months!
Remember we are here to support your business, whether it is a technical issue or a new business enquiry, you can call us on 0800 54 23 123. Alternatively find us on https://www.123send.net/contacts
Keep safe and well,
Due to a technical issue on the side of 3rd Party provider of downstream connections to several UK acquirers, payments to these acquirers were impacted between 17:31 and 18:51 BST on the 29th April 2021.
The partnership will bring Ecospend's Open Banking innovative payments service to DNA Payments Group portfolio of 30,000 merchants. Sitting alongside their existing suite of products, this latest solution will offer a new alternative way for merchants to accept payments.
